I've read several of the books in this series and when I saw that a box set is now available, I couldn't resist finishing out my own set. I love bundles that put the books from a series all in one place. And what a bargain!!The focal point of the series is the Bar Knuckle Bar in Laughlin City, where shifters rule and settle their differences in a fight cage in the bar. The town bully is the son of a rhino shifter, who rules the town with an armoured fist. Book one features the battle that occurs when a dominant shifter moves to town and shakes things up. Each book can standalone, but with the bundle, they don't have to. If you are looking for a fun read at a great value, look no further. This bundle gets an overall 5 stars.

It is a fun series about a town of shifters and their introduction to their mates which does not go very smoothly for any of them.
The first book starts with Grayson. He enters the bar in the new town he has just gotten a job and gets himself into a whole lot of trouble. He angers the wrong family and almost misses the chance with his mate. He is a bear shifter and loves a fight but this time he has taken on a bigger predator. Dakota is also a bear shifter and has been working at the bar for years. The men there don't interest her until Grayson walks in and she doesn't want to lose him. Her bear wants him too.
As shifters, they know they have a real connection and they don't hesitate to act on it or question it. The relationship moves very fast as does the story. It is a quick read.
I enjoyed the story. It kind of reminded me of a Dukes of Hazard episode where Boss Hogg owned the town and would fix any activity to ensure he was the winner. In the end, the good guys win.
In the second book, Brooke thought getting away to be with her brother was a good escape from her violent ex. She didn't expect to find her true mate. She loves the community and her new job and other than her brother trying to scare Hunter off, things are looking good for her. It doesn't take long for things to go very wrong when her ex comes to get her back.
Hunter is not an alpha. He is a sweet guy who just wants to protect his mate from an abusive ex. It is kid of nice to see a shifter who is more of a lover than a fighter. It doesn't mean he won't stand up and fight to protect her.
in the third book, Skyler is back after her father's death to save the business from her brother's poor business practices. She doesn't expect one of the workers to bond with her. Jack's bear knows she is his mate and he is ready to do whatever she needs to keep her happy and safe.
I enjoyed seeing these friends find their mates. Their bears know right away who is right for them and there is no hesitation or second thoughts. Jack was there for his sister and it is nice to see him get someone so loving and caring. Skyler is a human even though her father and brother were shifters and she grew up there but had a really bad relationship with her family. Coming back is hard but she knows can make it a success for them all.
The characters are fun and have great chemistry. It is a pretty quick read.
The fourth book features Wyatt who is a bear shifter and has watched his friends find their mates and he is ready when the first women to work for the company to arrive. The scene is really funny and he has a lot of pick up lines ready. It isn't until he meets Roxy, another bear shifter, that he really understands the mate connection. Roxy is trying to find a place where her bear can be free. She loves the city but her bear was too confined and tended to get out of control. She wasn't expected such an isolated area or a guy like Wyatt.
There really are a lot of fun moments in this addition to the series. Wyatt tries hard to please his mate. There is also a real challenge to their relationship that they have to face.
The fifth book is about Luke who loves the bar and the town. He hoped to find his mate like so many others but it hasn't happened until a dragon shifter brings Noel to town. This dragon wants to take control over the town and keep Noel under his control as well. She wants her freedom but no one has stood up to him. Luke intends to keep this dragon out of his town and free the women he knows is his mate.
I like that the author puts quite a bit of humor in the stories to balance out some of the more harsher parts of the stories dealing with the fights. The first dates have been funny and sweet in each story. These shifters really step up when their mate is in danger and needs them to be strong.

BARE KNUCKLE BEAR
I love Dakota's character, the only female - all be it bear shifter - Working in a bar full of male shifters and not one of them will argue with her.
Grayson is the new shifter in town and immediately catches Dakota's interest, unfortunately the boss's son has decided Dakota is his and as his rhino shifter father controls the town there's a whole world of trouble brewing.
A good story that easily holds your attention, with shifter cage fights and a bit of romance it makes for an enjoyable read.
BARE KNUCKLE GRIZZLY
Visiting Laughlin city would make you feel like a kid in a candy store, a whole town filled with Male shifters, sounds like heaven unless of course it's your little sister that's come to visit and then it's a job keeping all the testosterone filled males away.
When trouble follows Brooke to this remote town there's only one way to deal with it ....... No rules Cage fight at the bar.
What follows is plenty of tension, aggression, blood and the lesson that a bear is willing to die to protect a mate !
This is a short read but has no problem keeping you interested, I certainly be happy to read more from this author.
BARE KNUCKLE BLACK BEAR
At the end of book 2 we saw Jack imprint on a new face in town, Skyler is not only human but also the estranged Daughter of the towns boss and when she returns for his funeral, her brother, intent on taking his fathers place, does everything he can to make her leave, but what is he hiding ?
With this series you're guaranteed an enjoyable read and now with a new boss that's decided to shake things up a bit book 4 should be good -)
BARE KNUCKLE KODIAK
As part of Skyler's overhaul of Cash Loggings, she decided bringing in female shifters to the company was the way to go but as the 1st group arrive in Laughlin City it becomes apparent that there are going to be difficulties.
Wyatt is immediately smitten when he sees Roxy, the problem is, he's not the only one. Just what happens when your inner animal imprints on its Mate but your Mate imprints on someone else ! Blood gets Shed that's what.
I think this is probably my favourite book in this series so far, the imprinting on a mate issue gave it an interesting twist and the 'first date', that each of these books contains, was by far the most hilarious out of all of them.
BARE KNUCKLE LUKE
This is a series I really enjoy, all these big rugged shifters being tamed by their sassy women, with drama and danger but also plenty of moments that make you grin as these strong men will go to any lengths to please their mates.
I've always had a soft spot for Luke and his story didn't disappoint. Luke is an unusual shifter to it seems only fitting to have him matched against another rare shifter but will this turn out to be one fight he can't win ? One thing is for sure, Bar Knuckle won't be the same again !
